Network System Engineer

Job Requirements:

Install & support customer networks and operating systems.
Integrate other network operating systems into a common backbone.
Experience adding software patches and vendor supplied service packs.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery network implementation.
Focus on TCP/IP networks and Windows operating systems.
Commitment to high quality customer service.
Manage diverse workload and work unsupervised.
Ability to manage several projects concurrently on leading edge technology and networks.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills along with strong presentation, organizational and time management skills required.
MCSE a plus but not required.

Technologies:

Extensive experience implementing/migrating/administering XP, 2000, 2003, NT 4.0, Active Directory, Exchange 2000/2003, SQL and IIS.
Experience with Cisco network engineering, including extensive work with routers, switches, and firewalls.
Windows Server and SQL Server platforms.
Knowledge of UNIX, Windows NT, and Macintosh operating systems.
Internet MS Exchange & SendMail experience helpful.
Network support, TCP/IP, UNIX Administration. Solaris & Novell experience helpful.
Installation and configuration of network infrastructure to include routers, DSL modems, firewalls, VPNs, switches, hubs, and data cable infrastructure.
